There is over 90% blueing on mine, and the stock is solid, with assorted dings and nicks. The trigger is incredible, I can’t wait to shoot it! If you are interested in surplus guns, and don’t have a Swiss rifle yet, you really owe it to yourself to try one. This thing costs less than an absolute bottom of the barrel AR-15! Go for it!
Garry –
the rifle I received is on the high end of expectations. It showed up with matching serial numbers, sling, and muzzle cover. The action and bore are in perfect shape and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I purchased this firearm to add to my collection. I chose the good to very good condition grade. I feel the rifle I received is in the middle of that grading system. The stock in in nice condition, no cracks or arsenal repairs. The bore is bright and shiny. The red knob of the bolt handle was broken but still useable. After cleaning and inspecting it I brought it to the range and while firing it with swiss GP 11 cartridges I noticed the magazine would not feed smoothly. Comparing my K-11 magazine to the purchased 1911, I believe the follower spring has weakened, ultimately fixable. My point here, You take a gamble. If you want one buy one. Just realize if you purchase the “good” or even the “very good” option you may still have some minor issues.

I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of this historical rifle. The rifling was worn but not wore out! It a great shooter. Just wished I’d have purchased one of these earlier! Just a lot of fun!!

Purchased “good-very good”. Not sure what I got. Rifle arrived in a mangled box. Best I can tell, it may or may not have picked up some new dents/dings. That, and the crown had a ding in it regardless of the muzzle guard that came with it (yep, that’ll buff right out). Haven’t shot it yet. Will see in the Fall how the dinged crown provides stellar accuracy

it is clearly stamped on the barrel and can be verified on the manufacturers website. This is a good thing for the hand loader who wants to load long, heavy for caliber bullets that would not stabilize in the old 9.25 twist (Barnes 168 LRX for example). My rifle handles 180 Berger VLDs and 168 Barnes LRX with no issue. The long magazine allows the bullets to be loaded out to the lands. This is allowing me to load the bullets VERY long and I am easily able to safely work up loads to velocities well over listed data due to the increased case volume. Extremely pleased with it for the price point. I am guessing that Remarms, which is also producing 7PRC rifles, will transition all of their 7mm barrels to 1:8 twist as a cost savings measure. Just a guess.

The action was a bit rough out of the box, but smoothed out with a few hundred rounds and liberal use of grease on the bolt. I was disappointed in the accuracy with lighter bullets, it wasn’t bad (about 2moa), just not as good as I felt it should be (my AR shoots the same rounds sub moa). After some experimenting, I found a load this little rifle seems to shoot well and have been getting one ragged hole groups at 100yds. My rifle, in 300blk, with a 1 in 7 twist favors heavier bullets. All in all I am very happy with this rifle.
Harry –
I really appreciate a nice classic rifle with a wood stock and real bottom metal. This rifle is not a classic but I can’t stop myself for grabbing it when I go out in the woods.
Gabry –
Enexpensive Rifle. Shoots great
Dinaro –
This is the second ranch rifle that I own and I am happy so far.
Dinaro –
in my opinion, there is no other rifle even close to this price range that outperforms it for accuracy. If you’ve read this far, just stop and go buy it…thank me later.
Susan –
I bought this as a everyday shooter, I love the short length for the deer stand and shoot house.
Tristan –
I use this rifle mostly for Squirrel hunting.
Theodore –
Money well spent for a change. Also did the stock mod, remove the little filler piece under the barrel to free-float.

Tony –
I found that all of these rifles are very accurate and have an awesome trigger pull right out of the box.
Thomas –
over all a decent gun. The whole rifle cost less then a good precision rifle action like a surgeon or defiance and you can’t be that if you are just an occasional shooter
Thomas –
This rifle is on of the best shooting rifles.
Lucien –
This gun put the money where it needed to be, in the action and barrel. The stock and magazine are cheap, but neither have malfunctioned or caused me issues in any way. Consistent accuracy
Muray –
Well constructed and accurate. The accu stock and adjustable trigger are nice
Elison –
This rifle has great quality yes it’s a lil heavy but most buy this rifle for either hunting or Target shooting which means you are probably setup with a rest which takes away the barrels weight obviously
Santiago –
I’ve had the opportunity to compare this with others and I would definitely buy it again. Good luck and GOD BLESS!
Eva –
Solid rifle for the price.
Roger –
This is my first lefty rifle, and for the price I paid it was worth the money.
Luis –
this is an all weather durable composite stock, and is rather light compared to the barrel, so weight distribution is front heavy again for hunting.
